Altrincham Muslim Association

Donations

The Grove Lane Islamic Cultural Centre is a registered charity and managed by the Altrincham Muslim Association.

Please see Our History page for our constitution. The funds to run the centre are donated by the local Muslim community either via regular monthly donations via standing orders / direct debits or individual donations.

As you can imagine the costs to run the centre are very high, heating, lighting and cleaning are just a few of the regular costs that are incurred. These running costs are not covered by regular donations and we are fortunate to have in our community some very generous people who have funded specific events or items like carpets and railings and also contribute to the regular running costs.

The cost for running the centre should be borne by all members of the community and not limited to a few. As Muslims we should happy that we have such an active community centre but this all comes at a cost.

The committee organises fund raising events to raise money for specific reasons. Funds to buy the centre were raised by a dinner for the whole community.

In addition we have to meet the regular costs of heating, lighting and cleaning. Any donations, no matter how small they may be, will be a big help towards achieving our goals.

We welcome any donations, and no matter how small they may be, they would be a big help in achieving our collective goals.

As a registered charity your donations can increase in value as we can claim back tax you have paid on your donation, if you are a registered tax payer.
